Nephrology Registered Nurse

Fraser Health is actively looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to enhance their Renal Services at the Pamorama Community Dialysis Unit. Given the emphasis on patient-centered care, you will assess and plan nursing interventions for patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
This role offers the opportunity to gain specialty education through Fraser Health’s in-house program affiliated with BC Renal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patient admission
• Collaborate with inter-professional care teams
• Teach patients and families about health maintenance
• Document patient care and interventions accurately
• Mentor new nursing staff and students
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
• Two years of clinical experience in nephrology or equivalent
• Ability to initiate intravenous therapy
• Strong communication skills with patients and teams
