Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to support our NICU team through approximately November
2027. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, current BCCNM registration, and have at least one year of experience in a neonatal tertiary unit. This role emphasizes comprehensive nursing assessments, collaboration with healthcare providers, and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments of newborns
- Manage timely documentation of nursing care
- Participate in high-risk deliveries with NRP principles
- Provide direct patient care based on individualized needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care
- Current RN registration with BCCNM
- One year experience in a neonatal unit
- Completion of a post-basic Neonatal Nursing Program
- Basic Rescuer (Level
C) and NRP certifications - Solid communication and organizational skills
