Become a vital part of the Cardiac Services team at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Part Time Registered Nurse in Surrey, B.C. Deliver expert nursing care to cardiac patients in a supportive environment.
This role is tailored for a dedicated nurse specializing in cardiac care, focusing on patient assessments, care planning, and collaborative treatment. Your responsibilities will include engaging patients and their families in care decisions and ensuring compliance with health standards while working alongside a skilled interprofessional team in our Cardiac Inpatient Units and Interventional Day Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patients' cardiac conditions

• Collaborate with families on personalized care plans

• Delegate nursing tasks and coordinate with the care team

• Educate patients on managing their health

• Document all patient interactions and care steps
Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Active BCCNM registration as an RN

• Minimum one year of experience in cardiac care

• Relevant advanced nursing course completion

• Basic Rescuer Certificate needed
