Relief Registered Nurse

Join the dedicated team at Czorny Alzheimer Centre as a Relief Full-Time Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Surrey, B.C. This position focuses on person-centered care until approximately September 2026.
This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide direct nursing care, including wound, dementia, and palliative care. You will actively document care, advocate for resident rights, and support clinical practices through leadership and guidance. Your expertise in assessment and evaluation will contribute to the quality of care for diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans

• Provide direct nursing care and modify as needed

• Communicate changes and assessments to physicians

• Advocate for residents’ rights and dignity

• Participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements:

• Current RN/RPN registration with BCCNM

• One year of related gerontological nursing experience

• Level 1 First Aid certification

• Ability to apply critical thinking skills

• Effective communication skills
