Enhance patient care as a Registered Nurse in Fraser Health's Renal team at the Newton Hemo Dialysis Unit, Surrey, B.C. This casual role focuses on patient assessments and individualized nursing strategies.
Join a dynamic inter-professional care team to evaluate, plan, and deliver direct nursing care. Engage with patients and their families, coordinating comprehensive care plans while teaching health maintenance strategies. Candidates must have significant clinical experience and a current nursing license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions and identify care needs
• Collaborate with healthcare providers on care plans
• Teach self-care and promote health literacy to patients
• Coordinate care and prioritize nursing tasks
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Current registration with the British Columbia College
• Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience
• Ability to initiate and maintain IV therapy
• Strong aptitude for patient-centered communication
