Overview
Enhance your nursing career with a Relief Full Time Registered Nurse role in the NICU at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey, B.C. Provide essential care to newborns until approximately May 2027.
Fraser Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role requires recent experience in a neonatal unit and offers a unique chance to apply clinical skills in a supportive workplace. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in high-risk deliveries while providing critical nursing care and advocacy.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for newborns
- Write timely and accurate reports for care continuity
- Participate in high-risk deliveries and implement NRP procedures
- Maintain accurate records according to Fraser Health standards
- Promote family-centered care and best practices in nursing
- Current registration with BCCNM
- One year of recent neonatal experience required
- Completion of a post-basic Neonatal Nursing Program
- Basic Rescuer (Level
C) and NRP Certificates - Ability to assess and prioritize clinical needs
Promote the health and well-being of newborns while making a significant impact in the NICU at Fraser Health.
