Overview

This position involves comprehensive nursing care, requiring a current registration with BCCNM. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, and implement care for psychiatric patients, while using creative technologies for remote monitoring. Your skills in crisis intervention and patient education will be essential in promoting therapeutic recovery.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' mental health and care needs
- Actively support and participate in treatment programs
- Monitor patients remotely using approved technology
- Generate timely and accurate reports on assessments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams regarding patient care plans
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current registration as RN/RPN with BCCNM
- One year of experience in mental health services
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and personal vehicle access
- Knowledge of mental illness and treatment protocols
