Elevate pediatric care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Observation Unit at Fraser Health. Focus on compassionate, person-centered nursing, conducting assessments and delivering critical care for children.
As a Pediatric Emergency Nurse, you will collaborate with families and a skilled care team to create and adjust individualized care plans.
Your role includes thorough nursing assessments, documenting patient responses, and participating in discharge planning to enhance health outcomes. You will also engage in quality improvement initiatives to further develop your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed nursing assessments of pediatric patients
• Collaborate on patient care plans with families and health professionals
• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks effectively
• Document and evaluate patient responses and interventions
• Participate in quality improvement and educational initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
• Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience
• Post-graduate coursework or certifications in pediatrics
• Proficiency in IV therapy and pediatric care techniques
