Join our Laurel Place Hospice team at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Full Scope Licensed Practical Nurse. Provide compassionate nursing care and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
This role at Fraser Health is ideal for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). You will assess patient needs, promote involvement in health decisions, and document care effectively. Contribute to individualized care plans while ensuring safety and comfort for patients and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient and family strengths and needs
• Provide a supportive environment for patients
• Develop individualized plans of care
• Document and update relevant care information
• Maintain safe and clean environments for patients
Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program
• Current practicing registration with the BCCNM
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of full scope nursing practice
• Ability to operate nursing-related equipment
