In this part‑time role, you will assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for acutely ill seniors. Collaborating with an interprofessional care team, you will ensure person‑centered care, focusing on patient dignity and autonomy. Your skills in communication, clinical assessment, and patient advocacy will be crucial in delivering effective care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess acutely ill elderly patients’ needs
- Plan and evaluate tailored nursing interventions
- Collaborate with families to develop care plans
- Document patient assessments and care outcomes
- Participate in education and quality improvement activities
- Current RN registration with BCCNM
- Minimum one year acute care experience
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to teach health maintenance to patients
- Commitment to diverse and inclusive care
