Position: Infusion Nurse Opportunity

In this role at McKesson, you’ll be pivotal in delivering safe, compassionate nursing care in an outpatient clinic. As an Infusion Nurse, your key responsibilities include initiating IV access, administering specialty medications, and monitoring patients for any adverse effects. You will also provide crucial patient education and document care processes within digital systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and manage peripheral and central line IV access

• Prepare and administer IV medications based on safety protocols

• Monitor and document post-infusion patient care activities

• Educate patients on treatment plans and medication effects

• Uphold high standards of infection prevention and safety

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in good standing with BCCNM

• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience

• Infusion certification or equivalent hands-on experience

• CPR certification required

• Ability to work independently in clinical settings
