Fraser Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus on mental health to join its Child and Adolescent Psychiatry team. In this role, you will implement therapeutic interventions, perform nursing assessments, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise in crisis intervention and patient education will greatly impact the recovery journeys of your patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate psychiatric nursing care continually
• Implement therapeutic interventions collaboratively with the team
• Communicate effectively regarding patient needs and conditions
• Advocate for the rights and well-being of all patients
• Engage in nursing staff education and orientation programs
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• At least one year of psychiatric nursing experience
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
