Position: Registered Nurse for Maternal Care
Become a key member of the Maternal – Infant – Child & Youth team at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse, Perinatal. This role focuses on delivering expert care to expecting patients and newborns.
Our team is hiring a Registered Nurse in Surrey, B.C., who will provide critical nursing care in the perinatal clinical unit until approximately October 2027. This position requires collaboration with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring patient comfort and effective care plans. The role emphasizes monitoring patient conditions and advocating for patient choices during care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute thorough evaluations of patients and newborns

• Partner with families to create individualized care plans

• Coordinate care with inter-professional team members

• Educate patients and families on health issues

• Maintain accurate records of care interventions
Requirements:

• Valid RN registration with BCCNM

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program

• One year relevant clinical nursing experience

• Current Basic Rescuer and NRP certifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills
