At Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH), we're looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to contribute to our Surgical Services team. This Relief Full Time position allows you to play a significant role in patient care by assessing needs and performing both scrubbing and circulating duties in the Operating Room (OR). Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop patient care plans
• Coordinate nursing care as per physician orders
• Monitor and adapt care based on patients’ needs
• Ensure a sterile and safe surgical environment
• Engage in educational and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current RN registration with the BCCNM
• At least one year of relevant clinical nursing experience
• Completion of applicable postgraduate coursework
• Physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities
