Position: Registered Nurse Medical Imaging Fraser Health
Fraser Health seeks a Registered Nurse for its Medical Imaging Department, offering a salary between CAD $41.42 and $59.52 per hour. This role involves direct nursing care, patient assessment, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide individualized care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures. Responsibilities include performing assessments, assisting during interventions, and establishing therapeutic relationships to ensure patient comfort and safety. Your ability to respond calmly to unexpected situations will be key in this role, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and psycho-social needs

• Assist Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures

• Monitor and document patient status and interventions

• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families

• Respond to emergencies and administer CPR if needed
Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with BCCNM

• One year of recent interventional medical imaging experience

• CPR certification required

• High acuity specialty nursing certificate preferred

• Strong clinical skills in nursing practice
