As a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse at Fraser Health, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to clients facing substance use challenges. Your responsibilities include assessments, developing care plans, administering treatments, and facilitating group sessions. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care and develop tailored care plans
• Administer medications and monitor treatment effects
• Respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for client care
• Conduct mental health assessments and provide follow-up care
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved nursing program
• Current registration with BCCNM as RN or RPN
• One year of experience in addictions care
• Completion of relevant certifications may be required
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and counselling skills
