Position: Pediatric Emergency Psychiatric Nurse Role

You will join a dedicated team focused on providing psychiatric care in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing treatment strategies, and offering crisis intervention. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial and psychiatric assessments

• Coordinate care with physicians and family members

• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes

• Educate families about mental health and resources

• Guide team members on psychiatric care practices

Requirements:

• RN/RPN registration with the BCCNM is essential

• Minimum one year in an acute psychiatric setting

• Familiarity with adolescent mental health issues
