As a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Fraser Health, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for your patients. This role also involves coordinating efforts with physician and anaesthetist orders, monitoring patients, and performing both scrubbing and circulating duties. You will become an integral part of enhancing patient safety and advocating for their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate nursing care of Operating Room patients

• Coordinate and admit patients according to medical instructions

• Advocate for patients’ rights and privacy

• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties as needed

• Participate in quality improvement and nursing committees

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse certification with BCCNM

• One year of relevant clinical experience

• Ability to perform effective patient assessments

• Strong communication skills with various stakeholders

• Completion of required post-graduate coursework
