Position: Inpatient Medicine Clinical Mentor Role
Shape nursing excellence as an RN Clinical Mentor in Inpatient Medicine. This position provides hands-on mentorship, guiding nursing staff towards high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

As a skilled RN Clinical Mentor, you will leverage your experience to support and train nursing staff in an inpatient setting. Collaborating closely with Nurse Educators and other interprofessional leaders, you will focus on staff development, promoting safe and evidence-based practices. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing clinical skills and judgment while ensuring adherence to care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor nursing staff in best practices for Inpatient Medicine

• Provide elbow-to-elbow clinical mentorship and support

• Conduct formal and informal clinical training sessions

• Assess staff learning needs and competency levels

• Collaborate to implement clinical practice initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Minimum three years nursing experience in relevant fields

• Proven mentoring and leadership skills

• Valid BC Driver’s License and personal vehicle may be required

• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
