Position: Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse Wanted
Join Fraser Health as a Relief Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse at Laurel Place Hospice in Surrey, B.C.

Your role will be essential in providing high-quality care to patients until approximately December 2027.

This position requires you to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and follow guidelines from the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. You will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, creating care plans, and implementing nursing interventions that prioritize patient safety, comfort, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ and families’ healthcare needs

• Maintain a supportive atmosphere for care decisions

• Contribute to the individualized care planning process

• Follow nursing care protocols and assess outcomes

• Keep precise documentation for all procedures and care

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized practical nursing program

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Strong communication skills for patient interaction

• Knowledge of full scope practice and medication protocols

• Physically capable of performing nursing duties
