Nurse Position in Child Psychiatry Unit

Fraser Health is hiring a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse for its Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Stabilization Unit in Surrey, BC. Be part of a team providing vital psychiatric care for youth.
As a casual RN/RPN, you will support patient assessments and interventions in a fast-paced psychiatric setting. Fraser Health values diversity and is dedicated to providing a respectful and caring environment for patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments and develop care plans

• Support the therapeutic program of the Unit

• Write comprehensive reports on patient care

• Advocate for patient autonomy and dignity

• Participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• At least one year of experience in psychiatric settings

• Active registration as RN or RPN with BCCNM

• Understanding of child and adolescent psychiatric issues

• Ability to engage effectively with young patients
