Fraser Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse committed to delivering high-quality assessment, treatment, and consultation services. This position entails collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-oriented care for diverse groups, including geriatric and youth populations. You will effectively engage in education, case management, and advocacy to enhance community health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for client referrals
• Deliver educational sessions on mental health and substance use
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient compliance
• Facilitate case conferences and collaborate with care teams
• Document patient interactions and interventions thoroughly
Requirements:
• Current registration as RN/RPN with BCCNM
• Two years of relevant experience or equivalent education
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
• Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies
