Surrey Memorial Hospital is looking for a Relief Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team until approximately July 2027. You'll be responsible for assessing surgical patients, coordinating care with medical staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluate care effectiveness

• Oversee admissions and prepare surgical settings

• Modify nursing care as per changing patient needs

• Ensure readiness of surgical instruments and equipment

• Participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved Nursing program

• Current registration with BCCNM

• One year relevant nursing experience in surgery

• Advanced training or certification in the specialty

• Competence in effective communication and teamwork
