Relief LPN Operating Room

Enhance surgical patient care as a Relief Licensed Practical Nurse at Surrey Memorial Hospital. This role emphasizes teamwork and quality during surgical procedures.

Fraser Health is currently hiring for a full-time Relief LPN, expected to last until November 2026. In this role, you'll collaborate with RNs and surgical staff to prioritize patient safety and provide comprehensive care throughout the surgical process. Your contributions will help foster a supportive operating room team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient care processes around surgeries

• Carry out scrub and circulating duties in the operating room

• Report patient issues or changes to RNs

• Involve in staff meetings to uphold improvement standards

• Guide new staff during their orientation and training

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program

• Active BCCNM registration and OR qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in acute care

• Basic cardiac life support certification

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
