Fraser Health is looking for a Casual Licensed Practical Nurse to join its surgical unit.

Your role will involve performing pre-operative, operative, and post-operative duties alongside RNs and surgical staff. You'll have the chance to develop your skills in a supportive and caring environment that values professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient care pre and post-operation

• Perform scrub and circulating duties in the OR

• Collaborate with RN to ensure patient safety

• Relay critical observations during surgical procedures

• Assist in orienting new staff members

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program

• Valid registration with BCCNM

• One year of recent acute care experience

• Current BCLS certification

• Effective communication and organizational skills
