About the Role
Join Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse specializing in Surgery in Surrey, B.C. Contribute to patient‑focused surgical care within a team‑oriented setting. This position supports the Operating Room team until roughly July 2027. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care while responding to patient needs and executing physician orders. Key Responsibilities- Implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Manage patient admissions and prepare for surgeries
- Identify and mitigate healthcare risks
- Ensure surgical equipment is functioning accurately
- Maintain detailed patient care documentation
- Graduation from a recognized nursing program
- Active BCCNM registration
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in surgery
- Postgraduate coursework in relevant areas
- Strong ability to assess and respond to emergencies
