This Full Time position until 2027 emphasizes your expertise in gerontological nursing, providing you an opportunity to consult and educate within the emergency team. You will perform detailed assessments, foster collaborative care, and lead staff education efforts to improve patient outcomes for acutely ill older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical leadership in geriatric nursing
• Assess and evaluate care for complex health issues
• Create and implement educational programs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
• Participate in quality initiatives and research projects
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• At least three years of related nursing experience
• Background in education or leadership preferred
• Completion of relevant gerontology courses
• Valid BC Driver's License for work-related travel
