Fraser Health seeks a dynamic Registered Nurse for the Hemo Dialysis team. This position necessitates post-graduate specialty education in Nephrology or an interest in pursuing it. You will be at the forefront of patient care, engaging with patients and the medical team to provide exceptional nursing services and promote health education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments and develop intervention plans
• Work with families and healthcare teams on care modifications
• Participate actively in patient discharge planning
• Provide education on illness prevention and recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care delivered
Requirements:
• Graduation from an authorized School of Nursing
• Registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience
• Completion of specialized coursework in Nephrology desired
• Skills in IV therapy and evidence-based practice
