Fraser Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide essential care and consultation for clients with mental health and substance use challenges. This position requires strong skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and community outreach. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals while educating clients and caregivers on important health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments for referred clients
• Deliver education on mental health and substance use issues
• Execute treatment plans including medication administration
• Liaise with community service providers for optimal care
• Document patient outcomes and care evaluations
Requirements:
• Current registration with BCCNM as a Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
• Two years recent experience in a related field
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
• Ability to advocate for client autonomy and dignity
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and mental health legislation
