Long Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse

Provide essential patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Maple Ridge, BC.

This role offers both full-time and casual contract options at $37.50/hour, requiring a minimum of one year in long-term care.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing patient care tailored to individual needs.

Your role includes interviewing patients, recording medical histories, and monitoring vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure. Additionally, you will assist physicians and registered nurses, perform diagnostic procedures, and educate patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care based on individual needs

• Record medical histories and physical conditions

• Obtain vital signs including pulse and blood pressure

• Perform routine patient care and wound management

• Communicate effectively with patients and families

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience

• Valid Licensed Practical Nursing License

• Current BCLS certification

• Proficient in CPR and patient assessment

• Ability to administer medications and injections
