As a critical member of the nursing team, you will assess, treat, and advocate for clients facing mental health and substance use challenges. Your work will involve educating caregivers and professionals, ensuring appropriate support systems are in place for timely intervention. You are expected to monitor treatment effectiveness and engage in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments to referred clients
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with teams
• Monitor and support clients' medication compliance
• Facilitate client access to community services
• Advocate for clients’ dignity and autonomy
Requirements:
• BCCNM Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse
• Two years of relevant clinical experience
• Valid Driver’s License and access to transportation
• Ability to teach and communicate effectively
• Familiarity with mental health legislation and policies
