As a casual nurse, you'll collaborate with an interprofessional care team, delivering person-centred and recovery-oriented psychiatric nursing care. You will conduct nursing assessments, provide crisis intervention, and educate patients and families using virtual technology. A focus on evidence-based practices and clinical leadership is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Collaborate with healthcare team on patient care plans
• Monitor patients remotely using approved technology
• Write comprehensive reports and documentation
• Advocate for patients’ rights and well-being
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse/RPN
• One year of experience in inpatient mental health
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Familiarity with mental health and substance use treatment
