Fraser Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to provide specialized care in mental health and substance use. This role involves assessing client conditions, collaborating with an interprofessional team, and delivering education to caregivers and community partners. Your expertise in treatment planning and patient advocacy will significantly impact diverse client populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide case management and clinical nursing services
• Conduct educational programs for caregivers and professionals
• Facilitate treatment plans and administer psychotropic medications
• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to services
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance care plans
Requirements:
• Registration as Registered Nurse/RPN with BCCNM
• Minimum of two years relevant nursing experience
• Class 5 B.C. Driver's License and personal vehicle
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and mental health practices
• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills
