Fraser Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for its Pediatric Emergency Unit in Surrey, B.C. This part-time role involves comprehensive assessments, effective care planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Successful candidates will contribute to patient education, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments on pediatric patients upon admission

• Plan and execute nursing interventions and evaluate care strategies

• Collaborate with families and the healthcare team for effective care plans

• Provide rapid assessments to facilitate patient transfers and treatment

• Mentor and guide new nursing staff and students

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with BCCNM registration

• Two years of clinical nursing experience in pediatrics

• Completion of relevant post-graduate coursework or certification

• Strong communication skills with families and team members

• Ability to adapt to changing environments effectively
