Public Health Nurse Relief Position

Make a difference in public health as a Relief Full-Time Nurse with Fraser Health in the Tri-Cities, BC. Deliver essential nursing services focused on health promotion and disease prevention.

The role of the Public Health Nurse involves providing comprehensive nursing services through evidence-based practices and community engagement. You will utilize your expertise in epidemiology and maternal/child health while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Immunize individuals against vaccine-preventable diseases

• Investigate and manage communicable disease outbreaks

• Provide prenatal and family health assessments

• Collaborate with teams to educate community groups

• Maintain accurate health records and statistics

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Six months of relevant Public Health nursing experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Valid Class V B.C. Driver's license

• Knowledge of health promotion and community development
