Fraser Health aims to recruit a competent Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse focused on improving the lives of those with mental health issues. In this position, you will assess clients, develop treatment plans, and support caregivers while ensuring compliance with BCCNM standards.
Your role in education and advocacy will be integral to client care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed nursing assessments and case management
• Educate community members on mental health issues
• Implement treatment plans and monitor progress
• Engage with clients, families, and care teams during case meetings
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care
Requirements:
• RN or RPN registration with BCCNM required
• Two years of experience in mental health care preferred
• Possession of a Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Familiarity with mental health legislation and policies
