FRAFCA is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner in Surrey, BC to provide exceptional care in Complex Care Housing. This impactful position focuses on holistic patient care within a supportive community environment.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will assess clients, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient wellbeing. Your understanding of cultural practices and holistic methods will enhance treatment strategies, celebrating client autonomy and personal choice. Your nursing expertise will aid in improving care delivery within our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of client health
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Participate in care planning with staff and families
• Provide essential personal and nursing care services
• Maintain accurate records and effective communication
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized nursing program
• Licensure with the BCCNM required
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and organizational abilities
• Commitment to promoting Indigenous interests and community improvement
