Fraser Health is hiring for an Indigenous Health Nurse Practitioner to support First Nations, Métis, and Inuit families through culturally safe health care services. Based at the Fraser Regional Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association, you will collaborate within a committed team dedicated to enhancing health equity. Aboriginal ancestry is preferred to ensure relevant and empathetic care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose health conditions and initiate treatments
• Oversee ongoing patient care and treatment updates
• Partner with healthcare providers for holistic health solutions
• Lead community health initiatives and education
• Evaluate healthcare policies to improve practices
Requirements:
• Current Nurse Practitioner registration with BCCNM
• Relevant clinical nursing experience required
• Skills in collaboration and patient communication
• Leadership qualities in healthcare settings
• Engagement in research and best practice implementation
