Part Time Hemodialysis Nurse

Be part of the Renal Services team at Fraser Health as a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse at the Panorama Community Dialysis Unit in Surrey, B.C. This role focuses on hemodialysis patient care during critical treatment phases.

The position requires a post-graduate specialty in Nephrology or a willingness to obtain it through Fraser Health's sponsorship program. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will implement and evaluate nursing care while collaborating with the interprofessional team. A commitment to therapeutic relationships and patient autonomy is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient care during hemodialysis phases

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care planning

• Advocate for patients’ interests and choices in care

• Teach clients about health management and procedures

• Document and report observations and outcomes

Requirements:

• Completion of Practical Nursing program and certification

• Current registration with BCCNM and CPR certification

• One year of relevant acute care experience

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
