Fraser Health is seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse Educator, Simulation to enhance educational strategies in the Fraser North Region. Utilize innovative methods to train staff and ensure optimal learning outcomes.
In your role as a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will focus on developing evidence-informed simulation programs tailored to staff and patient education needs. You will collaborate with clinical experts and refine educational strategies based on assessed learner needs. By participating in quality improvements and maintaining a hands-on approach, you will play a vital role in developing a culture of learning across healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Determine priorities for simulation education in collaboration
• Create and revise engaging simulation training materials
• Encourage open communication and strong learner relationships
• Schedule and monitor simulation educational activities
• Assess and enhance program effectiveness through evaluation
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Three years recent healthcare simulation experience
• Experience in educational leadership preferred
• Relevant postgraduate courses in simulation education
• Access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel
