Join Fraser Health's Learning Strategies team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Inpatient Surgical Services. Utilize your advanced clinical knowledge to support and improve patient care quality.
We're looking for a full-time Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) passionate about enhancing surgical inpatient services. In this role, you’ll employ your expertise to foster a culture of learning and guide interdisciplinary teams in evidence-based practices. You will act as a pivotal resource for clinical consultation, ultimately improving patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote excellence in nursing practice in specialty areas
• Consult with primary care and community groups
• Lead nursing education and development programs
• Support nursing research initiatives and facilitate knowledge sharing
• Collaborate for system redesigns to enhance outcomes
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• At least five years of nursing experience required
• BCCNM registration is mandatory
• Three years in a relevant clinical area essential
• Strong leadership and communication skills are a must
