As a critical role within Fraser Health, you'll provide person-centered care for clients with mental illnesses and concurrent disorders. Your extensive skills will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing diverse interventions needed for individualized client support. This position emphasizes collaborative teamwork to enhance patient outcomes across a culturally-safe framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team for effective client outcomes
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling services
• Engage clients in informed decision-making about their care
• Document all assessments, care plans, and client interactions
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized nursing school
• Two years of relevant experience in mental health
• Current registration with BCCNM as RN/RPN
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Training in substance use treatment may be required
