Position: Full Time Registered Nurse - Surgery Unit
Pursue a fulfilling career as a Full Time Registered Nurse in the Surgery Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital. This relief position offers the opportunity to provide critical patient care and support surgical services.

You will be integral to the Surgical Specialty Unit, responsible for assessing patients, collaborating with an inter-professional team, and executing effective care plans. This role involves teaching patients and families about their health journey while monitoring their progress before and after surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and determine appropriate interventions

• Observe and respond to changes in patient conditions

• Document patient care and outcomes according to standards

• Facilitate patient education on health restoration

• Actively participate in committees and in-services

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved Nursing program

• Current practicing registration with the BCCNM

• Minimum of two years relevant clinical experience

• Experience initiating IV therapy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
