Make a meaningful impact as a Registered Nurse in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Stabilization Unit (CAPSU) with Fraser Health. Focus on crisis intervention, personalized patient care, and collaborative treatments in an inclusive environment.
As an RN/RPN, your role will be pivotal in delivering psychiatric nursing services to children and adolescents. You will assess, plan, and implement care strategies while acting as a key member of a multidisciplinary team. Enhance your nursing practice through evidence-based approaches and continuous education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and plan nursing interventions for patients
• Promote and participate in the therapeutic program
• Create accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient-centered care
• Participate in educational activities and quality improvement
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• At least one year of experience in psychiatric settings
• Active registration with BCCNM as an RN or RPN
• Experience with child and adolescent populations
• Understanding of psychopharmacology and mental health legislation
