Join Groves Memorial Community Hospital as a part time Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Deliver comprehensive patient care across various surgical environments.
This temporary position requires expertise in the Operating Room, Endoscopy Suite, and Recovery Room. You will provide top-tier nursing care according to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and GMCH policies. Ideal candidates shall possess a Post Graduate Course in Perioperative Nursing, effective communication skills, and a commitment to continuing education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in Operating Room and Endoscopy Suite
• Assist in Day Surgery and Recovery Room procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively
• Lead and assume charge nurse responsibilities when needed
• Participate in departmental educational activities
Requirements:
• Registration in good standing with CNO
• 1-3 years of OR experience required
• Current BCLS and ACLS/PALS certifications
• Commitment to ongoing education and training
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check and Health Assessment required
