Surrey Family Physician - Gateway Clinic

Join the Gateway Primary Care Clinic as a Family Physician in Surrey. Contribute to mental health care through part-time hours with a dedicated clinical team.

This role seeks a part-time General Practitioner to serve patients tackling mental health and substance use issues. You will join a capable team, including a Nurse Practitioner and Medical Office Assistants, dedicated to delivering holistic patient care. Enhancing patient health through education and support is essential in this role, starting September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with mental health challenges

• Implement health education programs for better patient outcomes

• Work closely with a Nurse Practitioner and support staff

• Manage a patient load of approximately 5-10 individuals daily

• Utilize EMR for efficient patient records and communication

Requirements:

• Valid license as a Family Physician in Canada

• Experience or interest in mental health care

• Familiarity with Intrahealth EMR is an asset

• Availability for part-time hours from September 2024

• Compensation on a sessional billing basis
