Position: Psychiatric Nurse Opportunity in BC

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and ongoing mental health assessments

• Develop nursing care plans and interventions

• Facilitate effective communication within the care team

• Educate families about mental health topics

• Ensure adherence to safety and emergency procedures

Requirements:

• Approved nursing school graduation

• One year relevant experience in psychiatric care

• Current BCCNM registration

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and treatment of mental illnesses

• Strong organizational and collaboration skills
