Support surgical excellence as a part-time Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Bring your clinical expertise to our Surgical Services team in Surrey, B.C.
As a Registered Nurse focused on surgical services, you will provide vital nursing care to patients in the Operating Room. This role includes implementing and evaluating nursing interventions and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance each patient's surgical journey. Your diligent care will ensure adherence to Fraser Health's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans
• Manage nursing duties and prioritize surgical tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety practices in the OR
• Perform scrub and circulation responsibilities
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives for patient care
Requirements:
• RN designation from an accredited nursing program
• Current BCCNM registration
• Minimum one year relevant clinical experience
• Completion of necessary post-graduate coursework
• Strong observational and problem-solving abilities
