Registered Nurse​/Psychiatric Nurse

Position: Registered Nurse / Psychiatric Nurse Role
Fraser Health is hiring Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses to deliver compassionate care for individuals with mental health challenges. This position emphasizes a collaborative approach in a supportive environment.

As a Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse, you will focus on person-centered care and work across an interdisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning treatments, and engaging clients in their recovery journey. You'll apply your knowledge of mental health and substance use to foster a safe and respectful treatment atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments for clients

• Collaborate with team members in care planning and implementation

• Provide education on management of psychiatric conditions

• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed

• Maintain detailed documentation on client progress

Requirements:

• Approved nursing or psychiatric nursing degree

• Two years of recent relevant experience

• Active BCCNM registration as RN/RPN

• Class 5 BC Driver’s License required

• Possible need for substance use training
