This position involves working closely with children and adolescents experiencing mental health issues. As an RN or RPN, you will assess, plan, and implement nursing care while engaging with families to ensure holistic well-being and education. Your leadership will drive interprofessional collaborations, enhancing care standards within the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of psychiatric needs
• Implement and evaluate individualized care plans
• Communicate care plans effectively with families
• Participate in therapeutic activities and staff education
• Advocate for patients’ rights and well-being
Requirements:
• Nursing degree from an approved institution
• Minimum one year experience in acute psychiatry
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Specialized training in pediatric psychiatry
• Strong communication and counseling skills
